This New Zealand masterclass is an invitation to slow down, breathe deeply, and create with intention. Based in Queenstown and exploring the surrounding regions, we’ll immerse ourselves in some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world with horses and dogs as our muse— glassy lakes, towering mountains, winding roads, and golden light that seems to linger just a little longer. It’s a place that naturally asks you to see more, feel more, and photograph with heart.
Throughout our journey, we’ll photograph beautiful horses and dogs, and sometimes, with the people who love them, always in connection with the land. From quiet moments beside alpine lakes to wide-open spaces where mountains frame every story, this experience is about more than capturing a pretty picture — it’s about learning how to weave emotion, environment, and connection into powerful portraits. In Arrowtown, autumn brings its own kind of magic: warm tones, falling leaves, crisp air, and horses and dogs moving gently through landscapes that feel timeless and alive.
This is a journey of discovery in portraiture. Discovering how to truly see your subjects, how to work with natural light and wild locations, and how to create images that feel honest, meaningful, and timeless. You’ll be guided, supported, and inspired every step of the way, with space to experiment, ask questions, and grow in confidence. Expect soulful conversations, creative breakthroughs, laughter, and those quiet moments where everything aligns — light, land, my favorite animals, and love!

(While these masterclasses are designed especially for women who adore horses, dogs and photography along with an international experience beyond their wildest dreams (our kind of people!), we know some of you have a supportive sidekick who wouldn’t dream of missing out.
