Are you a passionate photography enthusiast who loves horses? Or perhaps you would like to include horse photography in your portfolio? If you are, this is an incredible opportunity to deepen and develop your equine photography skills. Two unique, creative and inspiring half day masterclass workshops plus two editing deep-dive sessions. The most divine horses and locations, it’s a photographers heaven.
If you want to grow your portrait skills and love horses, you’re going to love this! There will be stunning locations including a heritage-listed mansion, beautiful horses, models and costumes, and all the tuition you need to take your portraiture to the next level.
In this wonderfully creative masterclass, you will learn about camera techniques for portraiture. Create interesting compositions and work with natural lighting. Learn the art of posing horses on their own and with people. Capture movement to create mood and drama. Learn about storytelling with your images as well as working with and around horses and people. There will also be two comprehensive post-production/editing sessions where you will learn about my workflow, bringing out the magic in your images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, plus file management and final output. There will be tons of Q&A too.
This workshop is limited to only six participants as I want you to have the best possible experience. I will be available for the entire workshop to assist and guide you.
We will be based on a private property in the beautiful seaside town of Bellbrae just near Torquay in Victoria. Accommodation is not included in this Masterclass (a list of nearby accommodation options is provided at the time of booking).
Gourmet lunches are supplied each day along with tea, coffee and water. Breakfast and dinners are not included.
This workshop is suited to the intermediate to advanced enthusiast photographer with a DSLR camera. A good understanding of photography basics is recommended. You will receive hands-on guidance during the matserclass of course, but it will be expected that you have some understanding of the exposure triangle.
While there is nothing too strenuous planned, moderate fitness and walking over varying terrain is required. There will be some walking on location and the ground will be uneven in places and will not be suitable for those physically impaired.
