This is the follow-on workshop from my ‘Introduction to Photography 1’ studio workshop, to put the theory into practice. Come and spend a relaxing 2 hours of your day in the beautiful Civic Park Gardens of Warragul.

Be enchanted by the lily pond, wander through the garden and park like settings. Enjoy the beautiful old trees and learn how to use your camera practically.  I will guide you through your camera settings, features and functions plus everything else you need to know to get you more confident in your photography, In your own time, without the really techy stuff!  You will learn about lighting, the exposure triangle, composition, technique, depth of field and developing your photographers eye, plus a ton of other useful info, all re-confirming what you learnt during the studio workshop.

Aimed at the beginner photographer with no or little experience and perfect if you have done the Introduction to Photography workshop in the studio already.

Whether it be spring, summer, autumn or winter, the gardens are a magical place to photograph with so many beautiful garden elements, it is sure to inspire you!.

What you need to bring:

• You will need to bring your digital camera (and its manual if you have one)
• empty memory cards
• fully charged camera batteries
• backpack or similar to carry your camera gear etc, a drink bottle for refreshment on the go
• Suitable clothing according to weather conditions and comfortable shoes for walking are required. The gardens are sloping and there are stairs, but the pace is slow.
