Would you love to be able to take better photos of people? Want to learn how to pose people in ways that are flattering? Would you like to know how to photograph people in natural, daylight conditions? I invite you to join me and learn the art of portrait photography. Held on location at the beautiful Civic Park in Warragul. This workshop will certainly challenge and inspire you to improve your portrait photography.
On this 2 hour workshop, you will learn about your camera and settings, techniques, tricks, tips and troubleshooting while photographing people. Posing, communicating effectively and seeing the light are just some of the tools you will learn, to help you to achieve stunning, natural looking portraits in a variety of lighting situations.
You will enjoy photographing in a beautiful and relaxing garden setting, with like minded people and with a beautiful model to help you develop your portrait skills. This workshop is best suited to the intermediate photographer with a little knowledge of your camera’s settings and particuarly helpful if you have completed my Introduction to Photography 1 and 2.
What you need to bring:
- You will need to bring your digital camera and its manual (if you have one)
- plenty of empty memory cards
- fully charged camera batteries
- A backpack or similar to carry your camera gear etc
- a drink bottle for refreshment on the go
- Suitable clothing according to weather conditions and comfortable shoes for walking are required
- The walking is moderate and on sloping ground around the garden and there are steps, but it is at a casual pace.
